Rev. Dale Batchelor graduated from Gateway College of Evanglism in St. Louis, MO in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology.
He served as the founding principal of Colonial Christian Academy in Granite City, IL for two years from the fall of 1978 to the summer of 1980.
He served as assistant pastor in Portland, ME from the summer of 1980, until the summer of 1981. While there he started a prison ministry where many inmates came to God and were baptized in Jesus Name in the prison.
He founded the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Portsmouth, New Hampshire in 1981, and pastored there for 22 years. During this time the church grew and 348 people were baptized in Jesus Name and 275 people received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.
Bro. Batchelor has preached in many churches, at conferences, ministers' seminars, and camp meetings throughout the USA and in other countries.
In 2003, Bro. Batchelor felt the call from God to take the pastorate of the Hornbeak Pentecostal Church in Hornbeak, Tennessee. The church has more than tripled in attendance with 59 people being baptised in Jesus' Name and many receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
Bro. Batchelor met and married Debby Goodwin while at Gateway College of Evangelism. She is a public school teacher. They have two sons, Joshua 26, and Jeremy, 22. Both sons graduated from Gateway College of Evanglism in 2007 and are minstering in the Hornbeak Pentecostal Church.
